SAUGUS SACHEMS SUMMER TRACK CAMP: With the help of the Youth & Recreation Department, the camps first year was a huge success. The camp had 2 sessions: mornings for grades 1-5 and evenings for grades 7-8. Registration fee included 10 days of learning basic track and field skills, a camp t shirt, pizza/pasta dinner at Prince, and entry fee into the Needham Youth Classic Track & Field Competition. Over 55 campers and couselors participated at the meet with the Saugus Sachems winning the the first place trophy (see our photo album) After expenses, $2000 went directly to the SCTA to raise money for the new track & field. What a fun experience and a great fundraiser as well. Let's do it again next year!

Giggles Night at Prince Pizzeria: Once again the people of Saugus, friends and family came through and made this fundraiser a success! What a fun night with great comedians and an accomodating friendly staff. SCTA raised $2,000 through ticket sales, t-shirts and raffles. Sincere appreciation to Wild Harvest and the individuals who made baskets for the raffles. Thanks to you all!

Canning Fundraiser: Our canning drive was a great success due to the help from the businesses here in Saugus and the generosity of the community. We raised over $5,000 which will go towards the renovation of the community track & field. Thanks for your support!
